An A100 or H100 water-cooling plan can look simple on paper: block, pump, radiator, reservoir, tubing. The physical project changes sharply depending on where the card will run.

In a workstation, the priorities are slot spacing, radiator mounting, side-panel clearance, and a clean way to remove the card. On an open test bench, mounting and spill control become more important because there may be no case structure to support the block and tubing. In a rack environment, the existing server airflow, service procedure, and platform restrictions can outweigh the convenience of a desktop-style loop.

PCIe is the practical dividing line
