Bykski A-SP9070XTMT-X for Sapphire AMD Radeon RX9070XT 16GB GDDR6 METAL Alloy Pulsating, with backplate

TL;DR: The A-SP9070XTMT-X is a full-cover GPU water block matched to the Sapphire AMD Radeon RX9070XT 16GB GDDR6 METAL Alloy Pulsating.

Common Applications

The A-SP9070XTMT-X is a full-cover GPU water block matched to the Sapphire AMD Radeon RX9070XT 16GB GDDR6 METAL Alloy Pulsating.  A black anodized aluminum backplate is included to support the PCB; the backplate is not in contact with coolant. The high-flow internal waterway allows the block to be combined in series or parallel with other Bykski blocks for multi-GPU loops. RGB lighting is 5V 3-pin and must be paired only with 5V RGB hardware. Pair the block with a pump, radiator, fittings, tubing and coolant sized for the rest of the loop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which card is the A-SP9070XTMT-X built for?

A: It is designed for the Sapphire AMD Radeon RX9070XT 16GB GDDR6 METAL Alloy Pulsating.

Q: What materials are used in the block?

A: The cold plate is nickel-electroplated high-purity copper paired with  acrylic top. The included backplate is black anodized aluminum and does not contact the coolant.

Q: What lighting standard does it use?

A: RGB is 5V 3-pin and is only compatible with 5V RGB hardware. Do not connect it to a 5V 3-pin addressable header — mixing the two will damage components.

Q: Can multiple blocks be combined in one loop?

A: Yes. The high-flow design supports both series and parallel configurations, so it can be paired with a Bykski CPU block or additional GPU blocks for multi-card loops.

Why Water Cool the RTX 5080?

360W TDP under AI load
16GB VRAM (throttles at 92°C)
<30dB With water cooling
- 360W sustained for AI inference = persistent 45+ dBA fan noise
- Blackwell dual-fan FE cooler still struggles with 24/7 workloads
- Single-slot water cooling enables packing 2x 5080 in mid-tower cases

Full-cover water blocks cool GPU die + VRAM + VRM simultaneously — unlike air coolers that only target the GPU die.
