Cooling Position
Components with high heat generation, such as GPU cores, VRAM, power MOSFETs, inductors, and tantalum capacitors.
Heat Dissipation Principle
The high-purity oxygen-free copper base plate of the graphics card's water block covers key high-heat components, including the GPU core, VRAM, power MOSFETs, and tantalum capacitors. The heat absorbed by the water block is then carried away by the flowing coolant.
Block Features
High thermal conductivity:
Made of T2 oxygen-free copper, the base plate delivers a high thermal conductivity of 401 W/m·K, improving heat transfer efficiency and increasing heat dissipation area.
High-density jet micro-channel design:
The waterway area is enlarged with up to 176 micro-channels, each featuring a bottom groove. The asymmetric 5+3 channel configuration (0.5 mm slot width + 0.01 mm spacing) increases the contact area between the coolant and the base plate, enhancing the heat dissipation efficiency of the water block.
Full metal coverage:
The copper plate is extended to 157 mm in length to maximize coolant flow coverage.
Lightweight design:
Reduces the weight of the water block, preventing PCB deformation. A more reliable passivation process ensures faster heat conduction while effectively resisting corrosion and erosion.
Why Water Cool the RTX 4090?
- 24/7 Stable Diffusion inference pushes VRAM to 90°C+ junction; full-cover waterblocks eliminate throttling
- Dual-4090 builds (900W total GPU) are physically impossible in normal cases without water cooling — 3-slot air coolers block each other
- The #1 used-GPU-to-waterblock conversion target — buyers snagging secondhand 4090s want silent 24/7 AI rigs
Full-cover water blocks cool GPU die + VRAM + VRM simultaneously — unlike air coolers that only target the GPU die.
